The interview deals with the history and significance of John Brown to the African-American community of Quindaro, KS, and the statue commemorating him, which was unveiled during the 1911 Commencement of Western University.

The interview will air on KCUR 89.3 FM in Kansas City on Sunday, August 14 between 5:00pm and 6:00pm and again Monday, August 15 between 8:00pm and 9:00pm.  Please check your local listings for air times in your area.  You can find your local NPR station by clicking here.
