Mission Statement: "In Honor of Our Ancestors"
To acknowledge and perpetuate the memory of those individuals who were able to set themselves free from bondage, those who were able to make the transition from a post slavery to a free existence, and everyone who made a contribution to the growth and development of Quindaro and who still today remain committed to ideas and projects that are significant to the preservation, historical and cultural awareness, educational value and overall importance the African American Community of Quindaro to the history and evolutionary development of Kansas as well as the United States of America.
